Jesús Madrazo Unbound

Jesús Madrazo started his storied winemaking career at the prestigious CVNE winery almost three decades ago. Then he moved to Contino where he was responsible for eighteen vintages of the estate wine, for the development of the single vineyard Contino El Olivo and the Graciano varietal, for the introduction of the Garnacha varietal, and for the creation of the reputed Jesús Madrazo Selección brand. After his departure from Contino, Jesús Madrazo embarked in a series of projects in Rioja, Ribera del Duero and Bullas. Recently he was also hired as a winemaker by the Villota Family, after they decided to take full control of their own vineyards, which before represented 60% of the Contino estate. In this unique tasting seminar we will review Jesús Madrazo's career to later focus on his current projects.
