Some great winemakers work with privileged terroirs while others master the personality of specific grape varieties. A few others make wines that elevate and even transcend the potential of the terroirs or varieties they work with. Their deft and artistic touch manifests itself in all the wines they make, opening new paths of expression, creating new wine styles, and transforming the regions they work with.
