Garden Party. We celebrate 80 years of Amster Yard

Instituto Cervantes, as part of its commitment to the dissemination of Spanish language and cultures, wants to organize an unforgettable evening on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Amster Yard, one of the most charming and inspiring corners of New York. On Friday, June 6, we are hosting a very special Garden Party to raise funds for our cultural program. The party will take place in the iconic garden of Amster Yard, an urban oasis designed in 1945 by renowned interior designer James Amster, and today home to the Instituto Cervantes. Program: Latin jazz by Rachel Therrien Quartet Son and salsa with Trio Acángana, led by Chico Alvarez Ambient music by DJ TK. An immersive visual installation created by Laia Cabrera and Isabel Duverger. During the evening, you will be able to taste the authentic Spanish gastronomy of Despaña, enjoy wines from Bodegas Torres and toast with Mahou beers.
