The Duero Challenge

One of the great wine rivers of the world, the banks of the Duero River are home to the prestigious Ribera del Duero and Toro wine appellations. In addition, led by the astonishing quality and success of Mariano Garci?a’s Mauro wines, a growing number of wineries and winemakers —including stars like Peter Sisseck and Abadi?a Retuerta— started crafting high quality wines outside these wine regions. In this seminar we will blind taste some the powerful red wines that emerge from vineyards planted on the banks of the Duero River valley.
