Duero Shining

One of Ribera del Duero’s top winemakers said years ago that 2014 was the best vintage he has ever seen in this appellation. That was a lofty statement, especially considering the quality of the preceding 2010, 2009, 2005 and 2004. However, many of the 2014 reds from Ribera del Duero and Toro tasted over the last few years seem to support this perception. In this seminar we will sample some 2014s from the areas along the Duero River and compare them with wines from other regions.
