Corto Circuito Latino ShortFest in New York

The 20th annual CortoCircuito Latino Shortfest will take place in New York from November 6th to November 8th, 2024. CortoCircuito was created to show short films made by filmmakers from and about Latin America, Spain and the United States.

The festival is unique in its mission to promote a broader and deeper understanding of the roots, lives and diverse cultures of Spanish, Portuguese and indigenous speaking communities. Each year, the selection includes animated and fiction short films, as well as documentaries and experimental works, many of them premiering in the United States and New York.

The Festival includes multiple programs, Q&A sessions, and parties to celebrate the contributions that Latin cultures have made to New York's cultural landscape. The focus of the festival's programs and workshops is to showcase films and conversations that contribute to the founding and development of a more collaborative, fair and peaceful society.
