Colonial institutional documentary and amateur cinema. Analysis and uses
Presentation of the film series on Spanish documentaries shot in its colonial territories. The talk will be illustrated with examples of some of the rescued films, ranging from the trips to Morocco in the late 1920s by Alfonso XIII or Valeriano Salas, founder of the Revista Geográfica Española, to the proclamation of the Second Republic in Tetuan, to the propaganda documentaries of the regime of Francisco Macías Nguema during the first years of the independence of Equatorial Guinea.
