Chavin de Huantar, El teatro del más allá

The film takes us to the different villages that inhabited what is now Peru. These began about 3,200 years ago to domesticate plants and animals, ceasing to be nomadic and becoming sedentary. From that formative period, the first ceremonial centers appear where the heirs of the shamans, the priests, are erected as rulers. Towards 1,200 a. C. begins to build the ceremonial center of Chavin de Huantar, the Rome of the Andes, crucial and transcendental place in the development of the cultures later until the arrival of the Spaniards. The magnitude of the work still represents the greatest enigma of the Andes.
