Así empieza lo malo

 “Así empieza lo malo” is the latest novel by Spanish author Javier Marías. It tells the story of a long-lasting marriage, as told in retrospect by the young witness, who is now a fully grown man.
It is a book about desire - presented as one of the strongest drives in people’s lives - which can sometimes become so obsessive that one loses a sense of loyalty, consideration and even respect to others, as the author states about his own novel.
The reader is immersed in an unknown world in which he will identify with the feelings and dreams expressed.
