Mariel artists and writers: 40 years later

An interdisciplinary panel (journalism, literature, art, and cinema) on the cultural boom spawned by the 1980 Mariel exodus forty years ago, which included many artists and writers of renown. Given its commemorative nature, the panelists would highlight the works and creative output of the most prominent representatives of the different genres, the late Reinaldo Arenas among them.
