Abadia Retuerta, Crafted Spanish Wines

Abadía Retuerta winery represents the rebirth of a historical terroir. It is located in the heart of the Duero Valley around the namesake medieval abbey, in which monks worked the vines for nine centuries. In the 1990s the modern winery was created and its terroir, reborn. In this seminar, we will go over the history of the winery, their approach and current projects, and we will taste an amazing selection of their wines that will include half a dozen of their rare Winemaker’s Collection experimental wines, something that has never been done in the U.S.
