2001: Twenty Years Later

2001 is one of the finest vintages in Spain’s history. It delivered wines of superb quality all across the country, eliciting comparisons with the legendary 1964, 1970 and 1982. It was also an excellent vintage in the Rhône, Italy, California and Australia. Now, that this vintage is turning 20 years old, it’s the perfect time to enjoy these wines at their peak from some of the top regions of Spain and around the world.

Comments: Registration: $95 Following all the guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), New York State, and New York City for increased health and safety procedures during the Covid-19 pandemic, Instituto Cervantes New York will continue its Wine Tasting Seminar Program starting on October 22nduntil December 17th. These will be held at our Exhibits Gallery, it’s a big space located on the ground level, and allows us to comply with all the safe-distancing regulations. We will also continue to monitor and abide by federal, state, and city guidelines to inform our operations.
