Tango Malhar

In collaboration with the Embassy of the Argentine Republic in India, the film "Tango Malhar" (2025) directed by Indian director Saya Date will be screened on February 18. It is the story of Malhar, a rickshaw driver, who accidentally discovers Argentine tango, and finds himself torn between his conservative roots and an exclusive dance community. Along the way, he discovers a deep connection that awakens something beyond his everyday existence. After the screening, there will be a discussion with Director Saya Date, film critic Murtaza Ali Khan and a representative of the Embassy of the Argentine Republic.
