As a climax to the photography exhibition 'Flamenco India by Carlos Saura' and as a posthumous tribute, we present a series dedicated to the Aragonese filmmaker with the screening of six titles from his filmography: Raise Ravens (1976), Elisa, My Life (1977), Mama Turns 100 (1979), Flamenco Flamenco (2010), Oh, Carmela! (1990) and Iberia (2005). 

 
Born in the 1930s and expired on 10th February 10 this year, Carlos Saura is, along with Luis Buñuel and Pedro Almodóvar, one of the most internationally recognized Spanish filmmakers. With a long career that began at the end of the fifties and ended shortly before his death, with the awarding of the Goya de Honor by the Spanish Film Academy, Saura carried out a forty-year period throughout his career. of movies. He always felt a great fascination for India and its cultures. Last year he received one of his most important film awards: the 'Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement award'.

The series will be presented by critic and journalist Murtaza Ali Khan.
