Paco Serrano: Flamenco Guitar

The Embassy of Spain in India, in collaboration with Instituto Cervantes New Delhi, presents an evening of traditional Spanish music, a flamenco guitar concert by composer and artist Francisco Miguel Serrano Cantero, whose stage name is Paco Serrano. A professional musician, he brings his original interpretations to the Indian stage.
About the artist: First prize for concert guitar in the national Cante de las Minas competition in La Unión, Murcia, in 1991. In the 13th National Flamenco Art Competition in Córdoba (1992), he won the Ramón Montoya prize for concert guitar and the Manolo de Huelva prize for guitar accompaniment to singing and dancing. He was awarded the Radio Nacional de España Córdoba-89 prize. He holds the gold insignia of the Peña Flamenca de Córdoba and Peña Flamenca de Murcia. His guitar has provided musical accompaniment to the voices of great artists of the genre. He has also participated in numerous international courses on flamenco and classical guitar, in addition to releasing six albums, partnering with various singers.
