Women art collectors: experiences in Spain and India
This round table discussion is part of the program of activities accompanying the exhibition “Studiolo. Candela A. Soldevilla Collection,” currently on display in the exhibition hall of Instituto Cervantes New Delhi, and is also part of the program “Women-Led Art Collections in Spain,” curated by Alicia Ventura and coordinated from the Instituto Cervantes headquarters.The aim of this session is to raise awareness of the work being done by women art collectors in both countries, with moderator Bina Sarkar Ellias, art curator and editor, and Indian women collectors who are supporting the art scene in their country and internationally.
