The Open Door

The Open Door Studio 72

Marina Seresesky's debut film remains faithful to the lines of work that she follows in her short films: solidarity and sisterhood as a way of understanding existence and as a key to solving problems. The magnificent cast made up of actresses from different generations manages to enter the world of Madrid's corralas that still persist in the most traditional urban planning of Madrid.

Synopsis: Rosa is a prostitute. She inherited the job from Antonia, her mother, who now thinks she is Sara Montiel and turns her daily life into hell. Rosa doesn't know how to be happy. She can not. But the unexpected arrival of a new member to her particular (and absurd) family will give her a unique opportunity to achieve it.
