Flamenco and India: A musical fusion
The Embassy of Spain in India, in collaboration with Instituto Cervantes New Delhi, brings to the Indian stage an extraordinary fusion featuring Bolivia's first and only professional flamenco dancer, Lorena Ayala, and Indian singer Zila Khan. About the artists:
Lorena Ayala, born in Oruro (Bolivia), started her artistic journey in Chile. She received the recognition of Ministry of Education and Culture in 2006, for being the first and only professional Bolivian flamenco dance in Spain until now. Zila Khan is an Indian Sufi and Hindustani singer and actress.
