Bookaroo Children's Literature Festival, 2023

Bookaroo is India's largest children's literature festival. The Instituto Cervantes of New Delhi has been participating in it for several editions, inviting writers and illustrators. The festival is usually held in an open-air space and has a varied agenda of activities, from workshops and talks to meetings with children. This year it will be held at the Sunder Nursery. The guest author offers a workshop at the center in parallel to the festival. This year the illustrator Adolfo Serra ha been invited. Adolfo studied Advertising and Public Relations, but soon returned to his childhood passion: drawing, taking up pencils and watercolours again at the Escuela de Arte 10 in Madrid (Spain). Since then his table has been filled with colours, papers, animals, monsters and textures. If Adolfo, the explorer of blank paper sheets were an expression, he would be a smile and if an animal a wolf howling at the moon. In real life he can magically transform words drawings, spots and colours He will be giving doodling and drawing sessions for children from the ages of 4-14 on November 24th and 25th at Sunder Nursery from 11:00 am to 4:30 pm
