Dear Gentlemen
Instituto Cervantes New Delhi, in collaboration with the Embassy of Colombia in India, hosts a screening of the film Estimados señores (Dear Gentlemen), which narrates the suffrage movement fight of 1950s Colombia. Synopsis: In 1954 Colombia, in a world governed by men, five women give their all to fight for the right to vote. Based on a true story, this is the story of the suffrage movement in Colombia and the price they paid to achieve it. Special screening for Women’s History month.
