Sultana's Dream

Synopsis: Inés is a young woman from San Sebastian who is unable to dream and feels a little lost. She accidentally discovers the book Sultana's Dream, which describes the Land of Women, a place where women are all scientists and hold power, while men are confined to their homes, limited by their ignorance. Fascinated by this classic of feminist utopian literature and its author, Muslim writer and activist Begum Rokeya Hossain, Inés embarks on a journey of discovery through India in search of traces of the author and the Land of Women.
