Women's Month

On the occasion of International Women's Day, Instituto Cervantes of New Delhi, in collaboration with the Embassy of Spain, will organize activities with women's theme during the month of March. These activities include a round table discussion of Indian Hispanists who will speak on the topic “Writing and Femininity in India” and a film series by Spanish female directors that includes the following films that will be screened throughout the month of March Mataharis, by Iciar Bollain; Seven French billiard tables, by Gracia Querejeta; Also the rain, by Iciar Bollain 15 Years and One Day, by Gracia Querejeta Activities on March 8th, 2024 - 14:00h: Screening of the Spanish movie ¨Also the Rain¨ - 16:00h: Presentation on the ¨Situation of women entrepreneurs in India¨ by Cristina Montiel - 16:20h: Address on Feminism by Spanish writer, Laura Freixas - 16:25h: Round table panel discussion ¨Literature & Femininity in India¨ with Hispanists of India
