Celebrating Diversity Pride-Ed

Pride Month is a commemorative month, which takes place in June each year and in which special attention is paid to the emancipation, respect and acceptance of gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender, transsexual, transvestite, intersex or agender people. and asexual or aromantic. On July 6, as part of the Pride Month celebrations, the New Delhi center in collaboration with the Pride Circle organization will organize a series of activities. Pride Circle is India's leading diversity and inclusion organization with a mission to enable and empower the LGBT+ community, its allies, educational institutions, organizations and society to foster a culture of belonging for all. They partner with over 500 companies and educational institutions across India, offering best-in-class comprehensive consulting and advocacy programs, training and professional networking opportunities to foster safe, inclusive and welcoming work environments. Its mission is to create an educational ecosystem that celebrates diversity, addresses needs and gaps in LGBT+ inclusion, and fosters understanding and acceptance. Therefore, in this activity a session will be organized for Instituto Cervantes students that will include a round table, open debates, group activities and guest speakers to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for LGBT+ students. The moderator will be Vee, the cultural manager of the organization, and will count on the participation of Mahak Goel, Senior Programme Manager of the organization.
