Where were you?

In 2003, the animator María Trénor became known internationally with What will I wash it with?, a beautiful short film that was also positioned as a commitment to make less known realities visible. Without a doubt, it marked a starting point and commitment that has characterized a good part of her career. With Where were you? the filmmaker undertakes a work on the possibilities of making a different representation in denouncing gender violence, documented with trips to Mozambique and the Philippines in which she was able to conduct interviews ( in addition to one made in Valencia) that resulted in the three stories of the short film.

Synopsis: This animated short film directly challenges us to make us reflect on the transversal and universal reality that is violence against women: daily, subtle or brutal violence. Terrible all. All intolerable.
