The 15th Manila International Silent Film Festival
The Manila International Silent Film Festival, which celebrates its 15th edition this year and is the only one of its kind in Asia, shows silent films from various countries with musical accompaniment by Philippine bands. In this edition, Spain participates with the film "Carceleras" (José Buchs, 1922). A project of: Film Development Council of the Philippines, Japan Foundation, Instituto Cervantes, Philippine-Italian Association, Goethe-Institut Philippinen and the Embassy of France. It has the support of the Embassy of Spain in the Philippines, the Spanish Film Library, the Embassy of Italy in the Philippines, Cineteca Bologna, the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines.
