Valentina dreams of being a trapeze artist, but is fed up with her Down Syndrome and believes that she won't be able to achieve it. However, her grandmother, who she recognizes as her playmate, and learning and singing companion, assures her that, if caterpillars manage to become butterflies, nothing is impossible.
