Two teenage sisters are about to leave their country forever when they unexpectedly reconnect with an absent father. This relationship will both amplify and ease their pain of change.

KLAUDIA REYNICKE is a Swiss-Peruvian director who grew up between Peru, Switzerland, and the United States. Her first feature, Il Nido (2016), was selected for competition at the Locarno Film Festival. It was followed by Love Me Tender (2019), which was screened at both Locarno and TIFF. Her third film, Reinas, premiered at Sundance 2024 in the World Cinema Competition, before its European debut at the Berlinale in the Generation Kplus section, where it won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Feature.
