PELÍCULA-PELIKULA x Q CINEMA

Since 2002, the Instituto Cervantes in Manila has organized PELÍCULA-PELIKULA, a Spanish and Latin American film festival that celebrated its 24th edition in October 2025. Over the years, PELÍCULA-PELIKULA has established itself as the most important Spanish-language film festival in Southeast Asia.

PELÍCULA>PELIKULA has established a stable collaboration with the international film festival Q Cinema, currently the most important and prestigious in the Philippines. At this year's Q Cinema, PELÍCULA>PELIKULA is collaborating on the Philippine premiere of two Spanish feature films: Sirat, by Oliver Laxe, and Estrany riu, by Jaume Claret. In addition, Q Cinema will host a special screening of Una quinta portuguesa, the film that received the Audience Award at the recent edition of PELÍCULA>PELIKULA.
