Luis García Berlanga. First period
Author of 17 films shot over half a century, director Luis García Berlanga (1921-2010) has gone down in history as one of the great filmmakers of Spanish cinema. In this film cycle, four feature films from its first period are offered --a period spanning a decade and in which the filmmaker produced masterpieces such as "Bienvenido Mister Marshall" (1953), "Calabuch" (1956), "Plácido" (1961) or "The Executioner" (1963).
All films are in Spanish with English subtitles. Free entrance on a first-come, first-served basis.
