The Oceans, 500 years later

On the occasion of the 5th Centenary of the first circumnavigation of the terrestrial globe, in this lecture we want to reflect on the evolution of our oceans, taking as a starting point the discovery of those seas. The lecture will make a comparison of the situation then and the current condition and destruction they have suffered, as well as the work of science and the value of knowledge of history as a weapon for the conservation of our planet.
