La grieta

Science fiction cinema, which has had so little trajectory in the Spanish industry, had in Juan Piquer a skillful director of the formats of this genre in its B series version. This film, which also approaches horror cinema, has its best value in the work of staging the interiors of the submarine, which is another protagonist of the plot, and in Mariné's photography that helps to make credible an environment of fantastic and supernatural elements. Synopsis: A NATO mission dives to a crevasse at 15,000 meters deep where an experiment seems to have caused strange mutations in the creatures that inhabit it and where a submarine has been lost, which the latter seeks to rescue. The Dannekin rift will bring more than surprises to this group, which ignores the true nature of their expedition.
