La gata

"La gata" was the second film that Margarita Alexandre - actress, director and active producer both in Spain as in Cuba or in Italy --co-directed with Rafael Torrecilla. Synopsis: María, known by everyone by the nickname of "la gata" (the female cat), is a beautiful young woman, daughter of the overseer of an Andalusian cortijo. She is wooed by several men of the village, among them the young Joselillo. But "la gata" is only attracted to Juan, a handsome and cocky worker who dreams of being a bullfighter.
