El sur

Based on a novel by Adelaida García Morales, the film is about Estrella's relationship with her parents —Agustín and Julia—, with whom she lives in a house in the north. Agustín is a doctor and a dowser. Julia was a teacher and was punished after the Republican defeat. The girl is attracted by the mysterious personality of her father, who one distant day leaves the south and has never wanted to return.
