From Magallanes to Bulebar Espanya: A Short History of the Spanish Language in the Philippines
The legacy of the Spanish language in the Philippines is still visible today in place names, personal names and surnames, as well as in business signs, street graffiti, and other elements of public spaces. In this joint talk, two professors from the University of Málaga, Livia García and Antonio Calvo, will analyze the presence of the Spanish language in the Philippines, from its origins to the present day.
