Day of the Spanish Language
Watch out for this year’s el Día E (The Spanish Language Day) on June 19! Now on its second edition, el Día E is a worldwide feast of the Spanish language celebrated simultaneously in all centers of Instituto Cervantes. It commemorates the significance of Spanish as an international language which is spoken by more than 450 million people around the world. And to celebrate the language’s diversity, the more than 70 centers of Instituto Cervantes offer a wide array of activities for its students and the general public alike. Here at Instituto Cervantes de Manila, chosen as one of the 10 top centers, we will surprise everyone with lots of fun and excitement beginning with the canon blast of words (Lluvia de palabras) and the Juego del Español.
