Bergman in Spain
In the year of the birth centennial of Ingmar Bergman (1918-2007), PELíCULA would like to pay tribute to one of the main filmmakers in the History of Cinema. To honour the Swedish director, and thanks to the collaboration of the Embassy of Sweden and the UP Film Center, PELíCULA 2018 is proud to present this special section “Bergman in Spain”. The program features two Bergman’s classic films, plus two films by Spanish directors whose works have been influenced by the Swedish maestro –Carlos Saura’s Cría cuervos and Pedro Almodóvar’s Tacones lejanos.
