Zonazine Documentary in Spanish

The Instituto Cervantes premieres on its Vimeo channel, in collaboration with the Malaga Film Festival - Cinema in Spanish, and a month before its XIV edition begins, «Zonazine Documentary in Spanish», an online film series that presents four documentaries that were part of different sections of the festival in its 2019 edition. This stable programme of the Instituto Cervantes - whose name comes from one of the sections of the Andalusian festival -, has been dedicated to documentary cinema since 2014 and exhibits works that seek expressive formulas of experimentation, in which narratives cross the forums of non-fiction, along with other proposals that are presented as chronicles of reality in order to introduce the top of contemporary documentaries made by Spanish and Latin American creators. And so, this year's series screens, online, a quartet of documentaries co-produced between Europe and America, to get closer to the realities of their countries through their stories.
