Uruguay: Jungle Tales, By Horacio Quiroga Nick Chaffe

Instituto Cervantes Manchester and Leeds organise Tales from Latin America, a Storytelling to promote and encourage reading among young people with the best stories by Latin American authors. An ideal opportunity to learn about literature in Spanish and get to know other worlds through literature.

The third session is dedicated to Uruguay, where we will work on the stories of Jungle Tales by Horacio Quiroga. Written in 1918, it is considered one of the greatest works of children's literature, consisting of eight short stories that offer an original picture of the jungle and its inhabitants.
