The Spanish Wave in Focus Wales 2022

The Spanish Wave, Live Nation Madrid's project for the internationalisation of Spanish talent, will be present at the Welsh festival FOCUS WALES, which takes place between 5 and 7 May in the Welsh town of Wrexham. As an ambassador of the emerging national scene, the project will bring four musical proposals to the Welsh festival: the Valencian duo Yo Diablo, Barcelona's Chico Jorge, the Catalan singer Marta Knight and the American-born Spaniard Sofia Lafuente.

FOCUS WALES is a not-for-profit organisation set up to provide an annual showcase event for new music for the Welsh music industry. Its core work focuses on delivering an international festival of showcases at various venues in the town of Wrexham each year, putting the music industry's focus on the emerging talent that Wales has to offer the world, along with a selection of the best emerging artists from around the world.

FOCUS WALES 2022 will be the eleventh edition of the festival and will welcome over 15,000 people to the town, beating 2021's record attendance for a jam-packed weekend of events. There's nowhere like Wrexham during FOCUS WALES as they present over 250 artists from around the world, filling a variety of music venues and spaces, utilising 20 stages, and hosting a full programme of interactive industry sessions, arts events and film screenings, throughout the festival.
