Marta Knight
FEVER!
Marta Knight says she just wants to make songs to listen to in her room when everyone else is asleep. It all fits together when we review Peterloo Heroes, a debut EP that contained five guitar and vocal tracks. Already from those first recordings, one could sense a strong personality as a composer and one of the strong points of her proposal: the closeness of pieces that speak to you with the complicity of someone you have known all your life. That confessional tone, that shoulder to lean on, is one of her main charms, but not the only one. That 'Resurrection' connected with an audience of millions is explained, in part, by the irresistibility of its hooks and by a melodic aim that proves that we are dealing with an uncommon talent.
