Collection highlight: World Poetry Day
World Poetry Day, celebrated every March 21 and promoted by UNESCO, invites us to enjoy the beauty of words. This date reminds us of the importance of poetry in the cultural traditions of all countries and its ability to bring people together. For children, listening to, reading, and writing poems is a way to develop imagination, language, and creativity; and also to feel part of a long tradition that connects them to their cultural and family origins. Poetry allows them to discover new emotions, play with words, and express what they feel in a unique way. In our children's library, we encourage you to celebrate this day by reading a poem and letting the verses fill your imagination.
