Poetry Encounter with Abraham Gragera
The Instituto Cervantes in Manchester invites you to the first session of its new series “Poetry Encounters”, featuring Spanish poet Abraham Gragera in conversation with poet and professor Brian Sneeden. The event will include a bilingual reading of poems by Abraham Gragera, followed by a conversation exploring his creative process, his trajectory as an author, and the challenges involved in translating his work into English. The dialogue between both poets will be open to audience questions, offering a unique opportunity to engage directly with their perspectives on poetry, translation, and contemporary literature.
