Mujeres ¡Presentes! The Secret Songs of Women Latina Composers

The Instituto Cervantes Manchester, in collaboration with The Iberian and Latin American Music Society, is pleased to present “Mujeres ¡Presentes! The Secret Songs of Women Latina Composerss”, performed by soprano Lorena Paz Nieto and pianist Helen Glaisher-Hernández. This concert is part of the Live at Lunchtime series, which aims to highlight artists from various musical genres in one of Manchester’s most prestigious venues, The Bridgewater Hall.

The concert offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the captivating voices of Ibero-American women composers, spanning three centuries and showcasing works from countries across the Latin world, including Spain, Cuba, Venezuela, Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico.
