Storytelling: El sueño de Ilán
The Instituto Cervantes in Manchester continues its program to promote children’s reading. In this session, we will read El sueño de Ilán (Ilán’s Dream), a story about something as difficult and human as the loss of a loved one. This tale can be a resource, an ally to face situations of pain and loss, and to understand and cope with grief. Ilán and his grandmother talk about dreams. Ilán asks questions. How is it possible that we travel with dreams while our body sleeps? Do humans leave seeds in the ground, like flowers, when we are no longer here? Come and enjoy an afternoon in our library with a creative, fun activity that will make you think. We look forward to seeing you! An unfinished story from the Coloria collection that encourages creativity, invites reflection, and involves participants in creating their own ending.
