Josep
On Wednesday 8 June, Josep (2020), directed by the French cartoonist known as Aurel, recreates the life of the Catalan illustrator Josep Bartolí (Barcelona 1910 - NYC 1995), who was confined in a French internment camp for refugees after fleeing Franco’s dictatorship in 1939. Separated by barbed wire, two men will become friends.
The screening will be accompanied by an introduction + Q&A by Dr Isabelle Vanderschelden.
