Hispanglia: the traces of Spain in the united Kingdom

The eighth edition of Hispanglia presents a program focused on exploring the historical ties between Spain and the United Kingdom throughout history, addressing various areas such as art, literature, politics, and anthropology. This conference series aims to deeply analyze historical and cultural events, as well as relevant historical figures, their legacies, and the significance of their contributions for a better understanding of the relationship between both countries.

In 2024 prominent researchers and academics, both Spanish and British, have been invited to share their analyses and perspectives on each of the relevant historical events.

This series is coordinated by Professor Duncan Wheeler from the University of Leeds.
