Grandes pintores del Museo del Prado varios

The Instituto Cervantes Manchester, The Spanish Gallery, the Zurbarán Centre for Spanish and Latin American Art at Durham University, and the Centro de Estudios Europa Hispánica (CEEH) present the film series “Great Painters of the Museo del Prado”.

This series features four documentaries dedicated to key figures in Spanish art or closely connected to Spain — Zurbarán, El Greco, Patinir, and Rubens — produced by the CEEH in collaboration with institutions such as the Museo del Prado, The Auckland Project, and the Fundación El Greco.

Each documentary will be introduced by an academic specialist in the subject, enriching the audience’s experience and providing valuable context for understanding each work.

Together, they form a coherent and accessible programme, designed for both art specialists and the general public. Each of these documentaries has been screened at prestigious international museums, universities, and festivals, including the Grand Palais and the Louvre (Paris), the National Gallery (Washington), The Frick Collection (New York), the Museo del Prado and the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza (Madrid), among many others.
