Instituto Cervantes de MánchesterHispanic studies are deeply rooted in British and American universities, where their professors and researchers publish several articles and books on Spain and Latin America that contribute to the expansion of knowledge of these studies, open up new lines of research and advance the knowledge acquired. To disseminate these new monographs, the Instituto Cervantes in Manchester and Leeds, in collaboration with the University of Durham, organise the programme "Ex Libris: Publications in Hispanic Studies", coordinated by Professor H. Rosi Song (University of Durham), which in its fourth edition has a diverse profile with works dedicated to cinema, literature, sociology and gastronomy. H. Rosi Songis Professor of Spanish at Durham University and author of;Lost in Transition: Constructing Memory in Contemporary Spain (2016), and co-editor of the volumesTraces of Contamination: Unearthing Francoist Legacy in Contemporary Spanish Discourse (2005) and Towards a Cultural Archive of la Movida: Back to the Future (2013). She has published widely on contemporary Spanish culture, film and literature.
