Churchill's Spaniards. Continuing the Fight in the British Army 1939-46

The Instituto Cervantes in Manchester, in collaboration with the International Brigade Memorial Trust (IBMT), presents the launch of the book Churchill’s Spaniards: Continuing the Fight in the British Army 1939–46, written by Seán F. Scullion.

The event will take the form of a conversation between the author and Dolores Long, offering a unique opportunity to explore the little-known story of Spanish Republican volunteers who, after the Spanish Civil War, continued their fight against fascism by serving in the British Army during the Second World War.
