El niño de Elche

El Niño de Elche is one of the most important names in the Spanish Indie Music. The kind of music that is always running away from the most common channels.

Francisco Contreras was born in Elche in the middle of 80´s, but he has been living in Sevilla for years.  Despite being active for more than ten years, his popularity has grown quickly in the last years thanks to the public that appreciate his talent and eclecticism.  

Contreras loves experimenting with music and he has always overcome the famenco´s borders to broaden his music horizons. Niño de Elche doesn´t aim to enrich flamenco, but to break barriers and lead his music in thousand directions, in this occasion approaching it to the jazz music.
